Good news came for musician Ahmad Dhani who is now languishing in Cipinang Detention Center, Jakarta. Dhani is considered likely to get a sentence remission.

This was said by the Head of Cipinang Detention Center, Oga Darmawan.

He said the frontman of the god was well-behaved so that he could deserve a sentence.

 Dhani has the right to remission

"Dhani has the right to remission August 17 Independence Day for one month," said Oga Darmawan in Jakarta, Monday (16/12). 

Dhani was sentenced to one year in prison due to a case of hate speech.

He has been serving his sentence since January 28, 2019.

Oga revealed, Dhani just got out of prison on January 28 or 29, 2020.

But thanks to the remission of independence, he said, Dhani was expected to be freed by the end of December 2019.

"I'll check again later," he said.
